Visit Kent Summer Competition 2025 - Terms and Conditions

The promoter is Visit Kent whose registered office is at 10 Best Lane, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2JB.

To enter the competition, you must be: a UK resident and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of age may be required.
Employees (or family members of employees) of Visit Kent or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
To enter the competition, you must complete the entry form on the competition page.

The rules of the competition and the prize for week commencing Monday 30th June are as follows:

Hythe Imperial Hotel

The prize is Afternoon tea for 2 people which would be valid for 1 calendar year from the date we issue the vouchers.

All our gift vouchers feature a unique voucher number, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, cannot be replaced if lost and are non-transferable and nonrefundable. The gift voucher must be presented upon arrival when redeeming the voucher and on the days of the week stated on the voucher and cannot be redeemed against special events, i.e. Mother's Day or Festive Afternoon Tea which starts on the 1st of December and runs for the whole month; traditional afternoon tea is served from January to November only. Should you wish to use the voucher outside the day of the week stated on the voucher, a supplement will be applicable should the cost be higher than the value of the voucher. No photocopies will be accepted. Advance bookings may be necessary. Cancellation of a booking with less than 72 hours before the day of arrival will render the voucher null & void. Vouchers are valid until the date indicated, cannot be extended and bookings are subject to availability.

Macknade

The prize consists of one Kent Cheese Hamper. It is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and has no cash alternative.
Free delivery is available to any address in England, Wales or Central Scotland, or collection is available from Macknade’s Faversham Food Hall.
This item is perishable and the prize winner must be available to receive the hamper on any nominated delivery day before 31st July 2025 (excluding weekends).

Biddenden Vineyards

The Prize: One winner will receive a Private Guided Tour for 8 people with 4 Kentish sharing platters at Biddenden Vineyards.
Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees of Biddenden Vineyards and Visit Kent are not eligible to enter. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
Entry Period: The competition closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 6th July 2025. Any entries after this will be accepted.
How to Enter: Complete the entry form on this page during the competition period. Only one entry per person will be counted. No purchase necessary to enter.
Prize Details:

The voucher for a private guided tour for 8 plus 4 Kentish Sharing Platter is valid of 1 year. Expiry on the voucher will be 30/06/2026.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative product, service, or booking date. No cash or card refunds will be offered in part or full.

Data Protection: By entering, you agree to your details being stored by Biddenden Vineyards and Visit Kent for the purposes of administering this competition. You will only be added to our marketing list if you opt in. We will not share your data with any parties not mentioned in these terms & conditions.
General: Biddenden Vineyards reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Entry to the competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Publicity: The winner may be asked to participate in post-competition publicity, but this is optional and will only be done with consent.

Go Ape Leeds Castle

Our prize will only be redeemable at Go Ape Leeds Castle, excludes Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
Axe throwing is for participants 16+.

Visit Kent's Terms and Conditions

Today’s competition prize package entry period starts at 12:01am on Monday 30th June and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 6th July.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
There will be one winner in total, one for each prize package. The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 7th July 2025. If the winner does not respond within 2 days of the notification being sent, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and re-draw an alternative winner.
The decision of Visit Kent in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Visit Kent is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
Visit Kent reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in any event outside of the Visit Kent control.
No cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered.
The prizes are non-transferable.
Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prizes with others of equivalent value without giving notice.
Unless otherwise stated, prizes do not include any personal expenditure or other incidental costs other than those agreed by Visit Kent.
Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
If Visit Kent has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the promotion, choice of winner(s) or any entry), Visit Kent reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entry, entrant or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
Visit Kent does not accept responsibility for network, computer, and hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties.
Visit Kent is not responsible for the safety of any person(s) participating in winning experiences.
Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Visit Kent and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: a) any postponements or cancellations of the competition; b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize; c) any act or default of any third party supplier.
By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

By entering this competition, you consent to Visit Kent collecting and processing your data in order to determine a competition winner. You will not receive any additional information from us or partners unless you opt-in to these.
