Kent is home to many golf courses, with summer months a little far off, you need somewhere to play now! Thankfully there are many golf courses open in Kent throughout Winter. There's no better time to start looking for a new hobby than in the new year. Get ready to stretch your legs, wrap up warm, stroll around the park get a hole in one and take a look at some of our favourite clubs across Kent open now, which we think you will love!

Knole Park

The finest deer herd in the South East can be found on the 1000 acres of magnificent parkland that surrounds Knole Park Golf Club. This tough course, created by J. Abercromby and enjoyed by its members and guests since 1924, is perfectly framed by Knole House, one of the best National Trust estates in the nation, as well as Knole Park itself.

The historical Knole Golf Course is a wonderfully inspiring site to play. Frequently listed by golf magazines as one of the top 100 courses in England.

Royal St George's

Hosts of The 149th Open, this course hardly requires an introduction. It goes without saying that this links course, which was established more than a century ago and has hosted 14 Open Championships over its history, and is one of Kent's crown jewels. 

Prince's Golf Club

The Shore, the Dunes, and the Himalayas.

All three excellent courses available at Prince's Championship links course, which is located on the lovely Sandwich Bay. While there, you can anticipate in excellent playing surfaces and unique courses that each reflect the enormous amount of effort that has gone into their recent development. This popular Kent course has held the Local Final Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2018 through 2022.

King's Hill Golf Club

Kings Hill Golf Club is a par 72, 6,600-yard, inland links course that was designed by David Williams. The rag stone-built course is the best-draining inland course in southern England and has some of Kent's best practise facilities.

Numerous county matches, competitions, and coaching sessions are held at the club. Five teaching professionals work out of the Kings Hill Golf Club coaching academy, where they can accommodate players of all skill levels, from amateur to elite and professional.

Faversham Golf Club

On his Belmont Park Estate, Lord Harris founded the Faversham Golf Club in 1911. It is currently regarded as one of Kent's best parkland courses by the golfing community. Golf is more than simply a game of chance; it's a stroll around the breathtaking Belmont Park Estate that provides hours of unparalleled entertainment and rehabilitation.

This outstanding golf course has a par of 70 and is 6000 yards from the back tees. For players of all skill levels, the 18 Holes offer a great challenge. Accuracy off the tee is required due to the well-kept fairways that are flanked with trees and the strategically placed bunkers. Numerous sculptured and plateaued greens require difficult approach shots, and subtle borrows will put your putting skills to the test.

Nevill Golf Club

Over a century old, the 18-hole Nevill Golf Club attracts both business and social guests. The distance to the Royal Tunbridge Wells city centre is only five minutes by car. The course is kept in excellent shape for both recreational and experienced players, and the clubhouse offers group booking options, three-course dinners, and a pro-shop. It dates from the Victorian era and continues to offer the breath-taking views for which it was built in 1889.

Stonelees Golf Centre

There are 3 fantastic golf courses in Stonelees for golfers of all skill levels. The first is a par 3, nine-hole course with holes that are between 101 and 165 yards in length. For those who wish to work on their short game, this course is also excellent. The second course, called "Executive," consists of a combination of par 3s and par 4s with several difficult shots. The Heights, a championship-caliber nine-hole course for better golfers, is the last course.

Wildernesse Golf Club

Golfers have been taking advantage of the gorgeous course and welcoming atmosphere the Wildernesse Club has to offer for more than 125 years. The Club, which was established in 1890, has a storied past and is now a private members' club that provides a particularly distinctive setting for both members and guests to play the game we all love.

The course, which is slightly over 6,500 yards long by contemporary standards, has remained almost intact over the past 60 years with the addition of two new holes added in 1969 (16th and 17th).
