Step into summer with one of Kent’s most beloved garden events – Newnham Open Gardens. Held on two special Sundays in June, this charming village event invites you to explore a stunning selection of private gardens, each brimming with seasonal colour and countryside character.


📍 Newnham Village, Kent

💐 Highlights include:

  • Afternoon teas from 2pm

  • Ploughman’s lunches at Tawnyhill Kennels (12–2pm, 8 June only)

  • A vibrant plant stall and flower display in the village church

  • Open Studios at Sandhurst Farm Forge – showcasing local artists and crafts

  • Refreshments including Pimm’s and local beers

  • Live music on the village green

    • 8 June: The Cassis Collective from 3pm

    • 22 June: Lowering the Tone from 2:30pm

🧑‍🎨 Plus: Browse works from talented local artisans – textiles, woodturning, ceramics, and more!

🎟 Entry: £5 per adult (includes programme), children free.
📍 Parking at Sharsted Playing Field (ME9 0LQ) and other locations.

All proceeds support Newnham Church (Registered Charity No. 1162554).

A delightful day out for garden lovers, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the best of Kentish village life.
