1215 Magna Carta Anniversary

Faversham is proud to have an original version of the 1300 Magna Carta. We are celebrating the sealing of the first version of Magna Carta in 1215 and recognising the 800th anniversary of the 1225 version.

Saturday 14th June 2025 10am-4pm

Faversham is proud to have an original version of the 1300 Magna Carta.

We are celebrating the sealing of the first version of Magna Carta in 1215 and recognising the 800th anniversary of the 1225 version.

 

We will have an additional exhibition space open displaying some information boards about Medieval Faversham and showing details of our other charters.
