There isn’t enough creativity in our lives… so head over to Cowshed Workshop today!
‘Creativity is intelligence having fun’. Located in the rural back lanes of Tenterden on a small farm is Cowshed Workshop offering a great selection of creative courses with local artists and makers bringing you years of expertise and experience.
Fantastic ‘cook & create’ course where both parent/ grandparent and child will both be making willow dragonfly and fish to take home, then heading across the fields to our outdoor cooking area in the meadow under a 400 yr old oak tree. Cooking over an open fire with the fantastic @Wildclassroom; they’ll have the kids doing everything from prep to plate, serving up a delicious lunch or tea, depending which session you go for.
Why not make a Christmas wreath that looks a little different from all the rest! We’ll teach you how to make everything from the willow base frame, to how to decorate in layers to create a stunning Christmas hedgerow wreath. Wreath size can range from 16-20 inch diameter, so you can really make something unique and impressive. In true hedgerow wreath style we use 10-14 different components to make the designs really stand out. We provide all the natural components, and will have additional faux berries to purchase if you would like to add that little bit extra.
Learn to weave a basket, and get to know the different techniques you would be able to apply, while making other items from foraged twigs; hedgerow materials. Click through the post for dates and information on our courses, all delivered by Marianne
