Unwind in Stalisfield, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Kent Downs, staying in our beautiful 'off grid' traditional 'Plankbridge' Shepherds Hut. The hut is situated in its own meadow, surrounded by donkeys and horses. Whilst here enjoy a selection of varying length self-guided circular walks in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Kent Downs, or just chill out and relax in your beautiful surroundings.
Situated in its own meadow, surrounded by donkeys and horses, our traditional 'Plankbridge' Shepherd's Hut is ideal for a couple (1 double bed) or a small family ( single bed via air mattress in hut or small tent can be pitched outside) and provides the perfect 'off grid' glamping experience. Complete with solar lighting, 12v USB charging port (for mobile phones) and a wood burning stove, the hut also has access to a separate kitchen and bathroom facilities located behind the hut with mains cold running water. There is a gas camping stove for heating water and part of the 'off grid' experience is the compost loo and hand-pressurised shower.
Whilst here enjoy a selection of varying length, self-guided circular walks in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Kent Downs, or just chill out and relax in your beautiful surroundings. You'll be provided with a complimentary breakfast basket for your stay and find several delightful country pubs in the area for lunch and evening meals.
A barbecue is also provided along with a fire pit nearby to enjoy starry nights toasting marshmallows!
