Sustainable, health, and well-being retreats at Bore Place

Bore Place is eco-venue situated on an organic 500-acre estate which includes an organic dairy farm, organic market gardens, conference centre, environmental education centre, as well as programmes to provide opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. Bore Place is home to the Commonwork Trust and Commonwork Organic Farms Ltd. We are committed to creating a better future by providing a place that brings sustainability to life and offers opportunities to learn, grow and be inspired.

At Bore Place, guests can:

• Bring your school for curriculum-linked day and overnight trips
• Participate in health and education programmes for young people
• Enjoy events, courses and activities for all ages and abilities
• See a working organic dairy farm and learn about organic farming
• Learn about organic gardening and enjoy the fruit and vegetables grown by young people in our organic garden
• See renewable energy installations in action and learn about low carbon living
• Stargaze, explore the estate and the local countryside with an uplifting walk and then warm up around a cosy fire
• Night walks to spot bats and other nocturnal wildlife

Escape day to day life with on-site, comfortable accommodation with an environmentally-friendly approach surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled countryside. Choose from the charming historic Bore Place House, or The Old Stables, as well as the space of our Large Barn, which is ideal for group practice such as yoga or meditation.

Opt for a self-catering retreat here or food can be provided which would be organic produce, either grown in the market garden or sourced locally. Bore Place can accommodate special dietary requirements and are very happy to offer vegan or vegetarian menus.
