Beer Trail through Northfleet and Gravesend

Gravesend was once a thriving hotbed of breweries and innovation. Thanks to the Experience Interreg Project, Gravesham Borough Council have developed a new “Beer Trail” of the area!

Your tour will start in Northfleet at the Iron Pier Brewery, Gravesend’s first commercial brewery in over 80 years, creating impeccable cask and exciting keg beers. Go behind the scenes with their experienced guide who will take you through a description of the breweries processes and methods, followed by a guided tasting with four different beers in the brewery Taproom.

One of the Gravesham Accredited tour guides will then take over and lead the group on a 30minute historical tour, bringing you to your final destination, the multi award-winning Compass Alehouse. Offering at least four gravity drawn Real Ales, the Alehouse keeps to the highest standard. Their ales are chosen from select Kent and UK breweries, and constantly changing, it’s like a rolling beer festival!

This tour is an ideal day out for a group of 6–8 friends, or a unique experience gift for beer fanatics. Expand your knowledge on craft beer and have an unforgettable time!

This experience lasts around 3 hours and is £35 per person.
