One Foot In The Fave

22nd November 2025

Back for More! Join us once again for a truly uplifting night of 90s dance music club classics. In like-minded good company, connect with a mature, discerning crowd who know the tunes and still have the vibe.

Remember these anthems? Save your soul with such floor fillers as Let The beat Hit ‘Em (Lisa, Lisa & Cult Jam) and Funky Guitar (TC 1992). Now you’re on the dance floor, get ready for Sweet Sensation (Shades of Rhythm) and Let me Show You (K-Klass). DJ Lisa Loud – The First Lady of Dance Music Headlining this event is house music legend DJ Lisa Loud. With a clubbing pedigree stretching all the way back to acid house, Lisa has graced the decks at the UK’s most iconic club nights including The Hacienda, Back To Basics, Flying, Venus, Sugarshack and, of course, FUBAR at The Milk Bar.

As a Paul Oakenfold protégé, she quickly and deservedly claimed her place and legacy as the dance music industry’s ‘First Lady’. As dance music’s ultimate showgirl, get ready for a sensational set. Welcoming you in is our resident DJ Danfos, an avid house music lover with DJing credits at clubs in Canterbury (Chills), Ashford (Liquid) and Folkestone (La Parisienne). He currently hosts ‘Our House Live’ on Radio Faversham. Brought to you by the people who were there in the 90s. Your host for the night is former 90s DJ agent Jane. As part of the bar staff team at Nottingham’s Venus, she was there for such iconic nights as Chuff Chuff, Flying at Venus and Ask Yer Dad. Setting up one of the first dance music DJ agencies in 1992, she went on to book and manage some of the 90s biggest DJs before creating the UK’s first all-girl DJ club tour A Gift From The Gods in 1997.

Held at The Old Brewery Store on Conduit Street in Faversham, Kent, this smart, intimate warehouse setting offers a stage, dancing area, tables and seating with a fully stocked bar area of cask tables and atmospheric lantern lighting. Parking is adjacent to the building and close by and the venue is in the heart of Faversham.

Nurture your soul. Experience once again ‘collective effervescence’ – Emile Durkheim – a heightened sense of excitement, energy and unity that individuals experience when participating in a group activity. Keep one foot in the rave. Research shows that dance music alone stimulates neurotransmitters which can improve mood and enhance cognitive function.

The complexity and structure of dance music stimulate regions in the brain that involve memory and attention, improving cognitive performance. Rhythmic patterns synchronize brainwave activity and promote neuroplasticity.

Keep one foot in the rave. Keep one foot in the rave. Attend One Foot In The Fave.
