Lovelys has been providing a unique service to artists and art lovers since 1891. In 2021, Lovelys celebrated 130 years since it was first established, and the business is still run by the Lovelys family - now in the fourth generation!
Lovelys offers a bespoke picture framing service in the on-site workshop, along with picture restoration. They specialise in conservation framing of all types of artwork, including needlework and memorabilia, with an extensive choice of contemporary and traditional mouldings. They also offer a range of hand-finished frames along with creative and 3D mounting and framing.
Lovelys displays a diverse range of paintings and prints from local and internationally acclaimed artists as well as pottery, ceramics, sculpture and a huge selection of cards. Lovelys also holds exhibitions and professional, artist led workshops throughout the year.
Lovelys are major stockists of leading art material brands including: Golden Acrylics, Caran D’Ache, Sennelier and Pro Arte. They are also a Winsor and Newton Premier Art Centre.
