Christmas at the Caves (29Nov-23Dec)

29th November - 23rd December 2025
Margate Caves

This festive season Father Christmas will be flying back to the Margate Caves for the ever-popular Christmas Caves.

10am- 3pm, 29 and 30 November / 10am-5pm, 6&7 December, 13&14 December / Then open daily, 10am-5pm, 19 to 23 December.

This year for Christmas at the Caves will be joining Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Darling children and flying to Neverland for a magical adventure.

Just think of the happiest things and venture deep underground into the enchanting depths of the Caves to explore the sparkling subterranean wonderland. Pick up your Passport to Neverland and follow the trail, journeying past the Lost Boys' Hideout and Wendy's House, braving Captain Hook and the Crocodile in Pirates' Cove, marvelling at the Mermaid Lagoon, meeting Nana as she tidies the Nursery and offering a magic coin to Peter Pan's wishing well.

Take a photo with the towering Christmas Tree, then hark! a bell rings and it's time to follow the leader! The Chief Elf will call your name when it’s your turn to meet Father Christmas in his cosy cave and enjoy a private visit, with a special gift for the children exclusive to 2025.

Now wave goodbye to Neverland and sail back to the Mainland to savour a warming hot chocolate and other seasonal treats in the café, and find a treasure trove of perfect gifts in our Christmas shop.

There’s still more to enjoy - practise your flying at the photo point, where you can gather the family for a special festive photo.

Then head to the Christmas Craft Workshop, bedecked in paper chains, for your creative craft session.

And don’t forget to post your letter to Father Christmas, making sure to tell him all your Christmas wishes!
