The Pulse is no longer operating as a cafe, but as an ethically run venue for meetings, parties and other events. The venue is a social firm, managed by bemix, a community interest company working with people with learning difficulties to achieve equality.
The Pulse is run entirely on renewable energy and provides a bright and airy venue to hire for events and meetings. The cafe also doubles up as a gallery for local artists and crafts people to display their work.
The venue can seat up to 40 people and can be arranged in a number of styles to suit your needs. Computers, projector, WiFi and drinks making facilities are available and the building is fully accessible with ramp access and an accessible toilet.
Discovery Catering, a vegetarian and vegan emerging social firm in Canterbury, works closely with The Pulse to offer responsibly sourced food for events and meetings inside and outside of The Pulse.Â
