Ever fancied learning Nordic Walking, or enjoying a walk with a trained local guide to experience some of the stunning Isle of Thanet landscapes?

Unsure what Nordic walking is? - Its an enhanced walking technique that uses poles to work your upper body as well as legs.

Denise is a qualified British Nordic Walking Instructor teaching the INWA 10 Step method. As well as running regular sociable walks, Ramsgate Nordic Walking offers taster and Learn to Nordic Walk sessions combining wellbeing and heritage to visitors and residents.

The 'Harbour Heritage Nordic Walking' taster session is a taste of history and Nordic Walking combined. (2 hours £30 minimum 2 people)

Learn to Nordic Walk on the 'Sea it all Walk' from Ramsgate to Broadstairs and back; beach and cliff top views combined (4 hours £60 minimum 2 people)

Tailor-made Nordic Walking stays, with the opportunity for wellbeing treatments and to join other local walks, with other local providers are available. Adventure walks can be arranged for experienced Nordic Walkers.

Minimum of 2 nights, single ensuite room, breakfast, Learn to Nordic Walk and Adventure walks along the coast with use of poles and an introduction to Ramsgate’s amazing history - from
£170 per night at weekends, £150 per night Monday to Thursday. Packed lunches and evening meals by arrangement are extra. 

Accommodation is at Langmead Guest House, a small, traditional bed and breakfast in Ramsgate, a town boasting amazing architecture and the only Royal Harbour in the world.
