Here are our two offers for visitors:

Costumed Character Tours

Groups can pre-book guided tours led by a costumed character – we offer both real people (famous and infamous) as well as fictional characters from the works of Charles Dickens – but all rooted in historical accuracy, illuminating a depth and breadth of knowledge of the towns.

How about a tour of Victorian Rochester, led by Charles Dicken's long suffering wife Catherine, or a Regency member of the Pickwick Club or even – the real 18th century theatrical entrepreneur and our company namesake ‘The Governess General of Kentish Theatre’ Mrs Sarah Baker herself? Each can give their unique perspective of Medway and the lives and times they know, illustrated with a smattering of readings from the works of Charles Dickens.

To book a costumed guided tour, email your date and requirements to: medwayartstours@gmail.com or call Kate on: 07883 340356.

Medway Art Scene Experience

For a more intimate experience of the dynamic Medway art scene, visitors can book from a range of packages which combine the costumed guided tour with a hands-on arts workshop.

Workshops are led by arts practitioners living and working in Medway. In the course of your guided tour, your guide will lead you to a unique, atmospheric space where your artist will be waiting. Art supplies will be included in the package price and you take home a unique momento – made by you - of your visit. All packages run for a minimum of 3 hours.

On the Medway Arts Tours page you will also find details of any free tours we may currently be running across the towns.
