Now let’s get one thing straight, with Instagram right at our fingertips, we’re all on the hunt for that perfect photo whenever we step outside the front door. Luckily for us, with our stunning sea-scapes and vibrant towns, Kent offers copious chances to earn those sought after ‘likes’ from your ever-growing feed of followers. What’s more, thanks to Southeastern's high speed links and Kent’s historic heritage railways, some of the most breath-taking views across our county can be reached with ease by train.

So, if you’re looking for the hotspots perfect for filling your feed with FOMO-inducing photos, you’re on the right track (pun intended…) Here are nine of the best places you can reach by rail, if you want to photograph the Garden of England at its best.

Canterbury Cathedral Lodge

Follow the floral scents and sights to this idyllic hillside garden for one of the very best views around. The woodland and gardens are carpeted in blue in early spring and bathed in the vibrant pinks and reds of the rhododendrons in late May.
