Further afield visit beautiful Broadstairs and Margate's creative old town, the famous Turner Contemporary and Dreamland. This part of the East Kent is ideal for long walks on the beach and its flat coastline is ideal for cycling; follow the Viking Coastal Trail all the way to the trendy seaside town of Whitstable or to the medieval town of Sandwich. Or just jump on train to discover this great part of Kent with its very own microclimate.

Well situated on the Kent / Sussex border, there are many historic attractions, gardens and galleries within a short drive or train journey away. A fantastic base, or home for a few months if you are on business or studying in the area.
