Flamingo House is a fabulous holiday home, close to the beach and local attractions. It is beautifully decorated in a contemporary yet comfortable style. Sleeping eight guests, there is plenty of space for everyone. There is a large living area, and a large sociable open plan kitchen/dining room with doors leading out onto the garden. Upstairs are the four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This family friendly holiday home really does cater for children, with toys and books, children’s crockery and cutlery and a travel cot and highchair. And your four-legged friend is also welcome to join the family holiday. Whitstable is very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many cafes and pubs welcome dogs. Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous. Please note that the house next door to Flamingo House is currently having an extension built to the rear of the property, which may be noisy at times.
Liberty Cottage is a charming holiday home located in a quaint little street of traditional cottages, a friendly local pub, superb bakery and coffee shop, and yet all just a short distance for the white sandy beaches and bustling town centre of Broadstairs. The cottage has a lovely garden, designed by the Dutch landscape architect Piet Oudolf, with pebbles and rocks, beautifully planted with tamarisk, grasses, lavender and other sea loving plants, and with three different seating areas it is the ideal place for a relaxing drink or meal after a fun day exploring. Broadstairs has so much to offer guests young and not so young. The Seven Bay beaches of Botany, Kingsgate, Joss, Stone, Viking, Louisa and Dumpton Gap, all offer different things - some are dog friendly, some child friendly, some great for surfers, other for photographers. The town itself has some lovely architectural buildings, lots of Dickens connections and some great cafes and restaurants. It has an amazing fish company with its own fleet of ships, where the catch of the day is sold every morning, and there is even a quirky small independent cinema.
