Our courses are held in the beautiful countryside on the Kent/Sussex border, based at our rural venue near Bells Yew Green. Our site boasts full classroom and conference facilities, restaurant area and parking set in over 150 acres of beautiful Wealden countryside.
Our Wild Mushroom Foraging courses are led by John Wright, acclaimed author and a regular contributor at River Cottage. John visits our site for 2 days in October; the day includes a 3-course lunch and refreshments.
Join Eve, our professional florist, for a hands-on one-day course on how to make an original traditional Christmas mossed wreath. Moon Down will provide a variety of natural materials and instruction that will enable you to construct your own original door wreath. The course includes 2-course lunch and refreshments.
Bushcraft/Survival Courses – Moon Down can arrange a group-exclusive booking for either a 1-day or 2-day survival/bushcraft course that will include shelter building, food from the wild, fire and knife skills.
