Castle Farm is a family run farm in North Kent, situated between the picturesque villages of Shoreham and Eynsford. In the summer months, their famous Lavender fields burst into colour across the Kent landscape and the family harvest and extract pure Lavender Oil.

The Farm is open throughout the year, with their own beef, apples, apple juice, hop garlands, dried flowers, pumpkins, lavender oils, food essences, Lavender teas and honey are all sold through the unique, award-winning farm shop (and online), along with carefully selected gifts, cards, crafts, seasonal decorations, food hampers and local, traceable produce. The Castle Farm Coffee Cart is open daily selling hot drinks and barista coffees.

At the Castle Farm Shop, in accordance with the seasons, they sell different produce, including Kent strawberries and cherries during the Summer and locally grown asparagus and Hop Plants in the Winter and Spring – excellent for home-brewing enthusiasts! Cards and inspirational gifts are available throughout the year.

During the Lavender Season (which runs from late June until the end of July, Castle Farm offers a number of ways to enjoy the Lavender fields – from beautiful BYO Lavender Picnic events, through to Guided Lavender Tours, or just the opportunity to just walk through the purple rows, take photos and marvel at the views across the Darenth Valley. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be booked online here – Lavender Season Information.

You can purchase Lavender Plants and fresh Lavener bunches direct from the shop or via the online shop. The farm extract the precious Lavender Oil on site, and sell a variety of Lavender products through the shop – from toiletries and essential oils, through to Lavender fudge and shortbread biscuits! By combining both Kentish Lavender and Hops, the farm has also developed a very successful ‘Sleepy Scent’ to help people get a better nights sleep.

Throughout Autumn, there are pumpkins, hops, and a pretty little PYO Apple Orchard which grows a heritage variety called the Norfolk Royal Apple, as well as Cox apples. In the Winter the shop is packed with Christmas food and gifts.

Castle Farm has been featured on television, radio, home lifestyle as well as food magazines. The farm has been used as a location for numerous TV advertisements, films and magazine shoots.

The family hold a high value on their conservation policy for the protection of Kent wildlife and beautiful Darenth Valley landscape and have a reputation for high ethical and environmental standards.

Castle Farm Shop is open Tuesday - Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday & Bank Holidays 10am-5pm. For more information, visit our website – www.castlefarmkent.co.uk. Or follow us on Instagram @castlefarmkent.
