Shanties on the Ship at The Historic Dockyard Chatham

Saturday 19^th August

Step aboard HMS GANNET at The Historic Dockyard Chatham for an evening to remember. Sandilands Shanty Crew and The Rogue Shanty Buoys will be performing sea shanties in this first of its kind event on a Victorian Sloop – a kraken time is assured for all.

Fish and Chip Evening Special on the Kent and East Sussex Railway

The railway today, 10½ miles between Tenterden and Bodiam is a fine example of one of England’s light railways and was the very first 'light railway' to be constructed.

Adult Bat Walk at Hall Place and Gardens

Join Hall Place and Gardens on a dusk walk through the gardens to hear and see these nocturnal creatures. Bat detector supplied! Followed by tea and cake. Dress for the weather and for walking over uneven ground.

Open-Air Cinema ‘Mamma Mia’ at The Powell Cotton Museum

Head to the beautiful lawns of Quex Gardens for a movie night under the stars on their giant 220″ screen. Cinema snacks and drinks will be available with all profits supporting the work of the museum. Bring your own picnic blankets or camping chairs, or upgrade to our VIP package.
