Tours of The NAO Santa Maria

25th June - 30th June 2025

Climb aboard Nao Santa Maria, a tall ship representing Christopher Columbus's flagship and is a faithful replica of the Spanish galleons used in the time of Columbus!

Roam through all four of the ship's decks and browse informative panels on the history of the Santa Maria, imagining what it was like to be a Spanish sailor 500 years ago.

This replica has three masts, the main mast, mainsail mizzen and a bowspirit, with the height of the main mast being almost 25 metres from the waterline to the highest point.

The four masted carrack is thought to be one of the most significant and influential ship designs in history and was capable of coping with the heavy winds and waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Step back in time when you board the Santa Maria and learn the fascinating history of these ocean crossing vessels. Tours will be conducted daily and discounts are available for school groups and families.

Children aged 5 - 10 years.

Free admission for children under 5 who must be accompanied by an adult.

2 adults and up to 3 children aged 5-10 years.

Ticket sales are now open and can be booked via the Nao Santa Maria's website.
