Come and visit the Kent Country Show and Kent Festival of Dogs at Quex Park in Birchington

Open 10am - 5pm 

Known as "The Event with Something for Everybody," there's an exciting programme of attractions, demonstrations, and displays that celebrate the very best of the countryside.

Main Ring Attractions You Won’t Want to Miss: Visitors can enjoy an incredible line-up, which includes the Shetland pony racing, amazing wrestling, motorbike stunt displays by Kangaroo Kid, amazing reptiles, BMX stunts and ring, archery displays, chainsaw carving, and interactive cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend... Jonothan Marshall on Horseback from Game of Thrones, as well as Tudor living history displays, Wings of the field birds of prey display, Farmer Will’s petting farm, ferret rescue exhibits, and the truly magnificent heavy horses shows. A lot more will be added to the Kent Steam Rally area this year by adding more steam engines and classic cars to this area bringing even more heritage and spectacle to the event.

Entertainment Across the Showground: There will be plenty of entertainment for families, including appearances from Rob the Robot, performances by The Spotty Boys Circus Horse Displays, Punch and Judy and puppet shows, magic shows, the AMA travelling open air theatre, funfair rides, a dedicated children's games area, circus acts, and so much more.

Back by Popular Demand – The We Love Dogs Show: As always, the show is a dog-friendly event, and will be returning with the popular Fun Dog Show for Charity and Fun Pedigree Dog Show which will return with over 20 classes in each. There will also be dog agility, main dog ring, fun dog ring and there will be plenty of entertainment for visitors and their four-legged friends.

Shop, Eat & Explore: Surrounding the main ring is the bustling Shopping Village, featuring a wide variety of stalls from local businesses and independent traders -offering everything from handcrafted goods to unique gifts. The fantastic Cookery Demo Tent will offer visitors the chance to watch incredible creations, discover new recipes, and sample delicious foods that they can recreate at home. One of the highlights of the weekend will be the Rural Crafts Area, where visitors can experience traditional countryside skills and craftsmanship first-hand. Demonstrations will include chainsaw carving, woodturning, and more. Visitors will be able to meet talented artisans, watch live demonstrations, learn about traditional techniques, and purchase unique handmade items directly from the makers. There will also be opportunities to try archery and axe throwing.

Feeling hungry? The Hot Food Area is packed with delicious culinary options to suit all tastes.

With delicious food and drink, fantastic shopping opportunities, local trade stands, and entertainment around every corner, The Kent Country Show promises a memorable day out for the whole family.
