This session offers a mix of hands-on activities, relaxing mindful moments and readings from the book, including: - feeling our planet through our sense of weight and gravity - exploring the light and warmth of the sun, leading to understanding about how we receive the Sun’s energy - reading the Aztec story/myth of 'Nanahuatzin Became the Sun, Tecciztecatl Became the Moon' - discussing how we can send wishes of love and kindness to others on a beam of sunlight or moonlight Tickets for this event are charged on a pay as you feel basis, starting at £2 per child and on a completely pay as you feel basis for adults, but please note that each person attending will need a ticket.
All money from ticket sales supports the running, continuation and expansion of Canterbury Children's Literature Festival and our year-round outreach work within the local community. You can order a ticket & book, which will include a hardback copy of Look Up at Bedtime which Mark will be happy to sign for you after the event!
