Join author, Steve Blackman, for a lively session celebrating robots, reading and revolution!
Blending a career in technology with a passion for storytelling, this interactive event invites audiences to get involved - be it designing a robot or building a story. Blackman will introduce his new book, Zero Override- an action-packed, high-thrills adventure featuring humanoid robots and artificial intelligence. Perfect for curious minds, this event promises creativity, collaboration and plenty of fun.
For ages 9+ This event will take place in the mezzanine room, upstairs in Canterbury Library. There is the option to purchase a ticket with a book, which you will be able to get signed by the author after the event.
Tickets for this event are charged at £2 per child and on a pay-as-you-feel basis for adults, but please note that each person attending will need a ticket. All money from ticket sales supports the running, continuation and expansion of Canterbury Children's Literature Festival and our year-round outreach work within the local community. About the Author Steve Blackman is a debut author, with over 25 years of experience working in digital technology. As well as writing, he is now a copywriter and editor specialising in that sector. Zero Override is his first book.
