The starting point will be outside the picturesque Court Lodge Manor; the walk will be uphill but at a steady pace.
Once at the top, there is time to take in the scenery before moving on to where the orchids grow. You may have the chance to see the rare Fly Orchid, a field of Pyramidal orchids and the beautiful Bee orchid, as well as the Common Spotted orchid.
You will be able to ask questions as you walk along and take pictures of the beautiful views.
We will stop for lunch before heading back down the hill.
The walk is uphill, but at a steady space. We advise wearing appropriate footwear and clothing to suit the weather.
The Orchid Walk & Talk will run between 10am -12noon.
The event may be postponed if the weather conditions are extremely wet; your safety is paramount to us.
Please do bring a packed lunch with you on the day.
