The 2026 Margate Carnival will take place on Sunday 2nd August!
2:30pm start from Palm Bay heading from there to Westgate, though some paraders on foot tend to finish at Margate station as it’s a long route. It’s a full day of FREE colour, music, and celebration including Carnival Club sessions taking place at the same time as Margate Soul Weekender, the UK’s biggest soul music beach party, celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2026.
