Ever wondered why people in Kent do nothing to celebrate the arrival of the Romans to Great Britain? They arrived on our beach yet there is no annual celebration..... until now! The History Project is launching Kent's Roman Festival at Betteshanger Park. Come and learn about the Roman way of life, what they ate, who they worshipped, how they fought, and so much more. We have multiple groups of reenactors in attendance and you can even watch a gladiator show in a Roman style amphitheatre! We look forward to seeing you there, you will want to experience the roar in the arena.
