Join author and amputee Ella Dove to hear about her new book, How To Do Paris With One Leg
The second story is about teenage amputee Maya Bright, who is determined that losing her leg won't stop her from having adventures. Ella will be doing a reading from the new book as well as speaking about her own story of becoming an amputee, with the chance to ask lots of questions.
Recommended age 8+ Ella's books will be available to purchase and you will have the chance to get them signed by the author after the event. Tickets for this event are charged on a pay-as-you-feel basis, starting at £4 per child and on a completely pay-as-you-feel basis for adults, but please note that each person attending will need a ticket. All money from ticket sales supports the running, continuation and expansion of Canterbury Children's Literature Festival and our year round outreach work within the local community.
