Canterbury: Self- Guided Walk & Exploration Game

20th February - 20th December 2029

Go Quest Adventures is turning Canterbury into an adventure playground with a fun, interactive, treasure-hunt style Quest all self-guided through your smartphone. With clues to find, puzzles to solve & challenges to complete, think walking tour with an escape room twist!

It really is one of the best ways to explore Canterbury. Your puzzle-filled adventure follows in the footsteps of the medieval pilgrims, beginning in Dane John Gardens, rich in Roman history then winds you through the city’s picturesque streets and ending at the famous Christ Church Gates of Canterbury Cathedral. Along the way learn about famous Roman roads and scandalous assassinations, discover ancient castle ruins, walk along the Stour and maybe travel down one of the most haunted streets in all of England!

As the Quest is self-guided, you can start whenever you choose with instant access and nothing to print from home. It’s private with no groups to follow so complete the Quest at your own pace, stopping for rest breaks along the way when you choose. Add up to 5 players to the app for one price. So gather your team, lace up your boots and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Canterbury Quest. This is an ideal outdoor activity for couples, families, groups of friends, and can be the perfect team building activity. Will you conquer the Quest?

Note: This Quest is a 2 mile loop around Canterbury and is wheelchair and pet friendly. It can take between 2.5 - 3+ hours to complete depending on breaks. While this Quest will take to you many of Canterbury's attractions which you are free to visit, the Quest does not include tickets to any attractions. Please note that the Quest is available in English only.
