Board the Magic Express on the Spa Valley Railway

20th January - 21st January 2024

Board the Wizard Express at the Spa Valley Railway 2024!

Bring the family along to take a journey on the Wizard Express on 20 and 21 January 2024 to laugh at Gherkin, the plucky young wizard, as he tries to find the perfect wand!

This new magical event will be packed full of slapstick comedy, magic and mayhem and is set to be another sell-out show! Make sure you come dressed in your best magical outfit for this enchanting train ride! The fun begins at Tunbridge Wells West Station where Gherkin is trying out his magic with his teacher of wizarding, Mrs. Magogglesargon. Everyone will then board the Wizard Express to begin their journey to Eridge station while Gherkin and Mrs. Magogglesargon hand out activity packs along the way.

Upon arrival at the station, everybody will make their way on to the platform where the plucky young wizard and his wizarding teacher will wow passengers with a magic trick or two. Everyone will then board the Wizard Express once again to travel back to Tunbridge Wells West. The wizards will be handing out treats along the way with a special prize given to the best dressed magical person! Make sure you arrive in time to enjoy the pre-show at Tunbridge Wells West station.

The shows will start at 9:50, 12:30 and 15:10. Train will depart at 10:15, 12:55 and 15:35 and return 1hr and 15 mins later. The experience is 2 hours and the cost is £15.00 for adults, £14 for seniors, £8 for children and £38 for a family of 2+2.

Tunbridge Wells West station is located just a pleasant 15-minute walk from the mainline train station in Tunbridge Wells on the line between Tonbridge & Hastings.
