Beast is bored of his sludgy, slimy swamp, until one day he finds a strange knobbly thing . . . A STICK!
With a stick in hand, the magic is endless - making patterns in slime, playing music, casting spells and even flying... but there are some things a stick just can't do. Join author Emily Ann Davison for a fun-filled, interactive Beast Meets Stick story-time event! Discover the magic of creativity in a read-aloud of this colourful picture book romp and join in with Beast inspired arts and crafts!
Recommended for ages 3+ Tickets for this event also include entry to the Franciscan Gardens. Participants are welcome to bring a picnic blanket and refreshments. About the Author Emily Ann Davison is a children’s author who writes about bunnies, beasts and sticks, among other things. She grew up in the North-West of England, and as a child, loved to scribble down stories and poems. Emily trained as an Early Years teacher, which is where her love for children’s books grew and grew and GREW. One day, a story idea POPPED into her head and now the ideas won’t stop popping! When she’s not dreaming up new stories, Emily can be found playing on the piano or having adventures with her family. Emily lives in the Garden of England, Kent, with her daughter, husband and mischievous dog. She is NEVER seen without a cup of tea, and always surrounded by biscuit crumbs (oops).
