Located in Margate, The WonderWorks (previously Hornby Visitor Centre) offers an engaging, educational, and affordable experience for visitors of all ages.

The reimagined experience features new miniature worlds and incredible exhibition pieces, along with a redesigned café with updated menu featuring local produce.

Look out for new exhibits and layouts that cater to speed freaks, engine geeks, and car connoisseurs! Whether you're a model train enthusiast, a car aficionado, or just love innovative engineering, there will be something special for you.

In addition to interacting with the impressive exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the history of the company and to learn how Hornby, Airfix, CORGI, Scalextric and Pocher make their models and kits.

Daily workshops and special events will help new and existing Hornby Hobbies fans to get the most out of their hobby.

Adult tickets are £5 with concessions available for families, children and groups.

The all new Cafe can be visited without buying a ticket to the attraction.

Afternoon Tea, Treats and Tickets for 2 - Sit back and enjoy a selection of delicious sandwiches, freshly made homemade cakes and tasty treats all accompanied by unlimited tea and coffee. Plus, tickets to The WonderWorks (worth £5 each). Cost £24 per person (minimum 2 people) Ingredients are locally sourced where possible. Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12noon – 3pm with payment and booking to be made at least 48 hours before by calling 01843 233524 or email wonderworksmargate@hornby.com Please make staff aware of allergies or dietary requirements at time of booking.
