Situated in the Kent countryside, the BarnYard is a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The venue, known as one of Kent’s best and most beautiful wedding venues, also incorporates a day-time restaurant, along with a French inspired ‘vintage’ themed gift shop selling beautiful home and garden wares (The Giggleberry Tree).

The BarnYard is owned and managed by David and Joanne McInnes, a husband and wife team who, between them, have years of experience in the wedding and hospitality sector. David and Joanne strive to keep the BarnYard the very best it can be with the help of a treasured team of dedicated, fun, smart and enthusiastic staff.

Restaurant And Private Dining

The BarnYard’s licensed restaurant and bar is situated across two areas within a stunning fairylit oak beamed barn with steps leading down to our beautiful patio where guests can dine alfresco listening to the sound of water trickling from the pretty copper tree water fountain.

Open during the day 9am to 4pm serving freshly cooked breakfasts, three course lunches, light snacks and not forgetting very special high teas. As well as this most popular BarnYard own brand ‘goodies’ and luxury local artisan food items are also now for sale from the Restaurant available for you to purchase and take away. So no-one has to miss out on our lovely BarnYard Apple Juice or own brand chutneys and jams. We also offer private dining where you and your guests can have exclusive use of any of our areas with chefs to prepare a sumptuous menu and waitresses on hand to serve you.

Weddings at The Barnyard

The BarnYard is an enchanting setting for the most memorable day of your life. Tranquil, charming and unique, licensed for ceremonies and home to both a luxurious permanent marquee which can host lavish receptions for up to 300 guests and a beautiful rustic converted barn – ideal for slightly smaller affairs.
