Midweek meanderings through the marshes of Faversham. Join us on Wednesday 25th February for a guided countryside walk exploring the landscape surrounding Faversham, Goodnestone, and Graveney.
ย Starting from Faversham Recreation Ground, weโll leave the town behind and follow quiet paths into the rural countryside. Along the way, youโll experience classic Kentish scenery, including traditional hop fields and orchards that reflect the areaโs long agricultural heritage.
Our route includes visits to Goodnestone Church and Graveney Church, offering moments to appreciate their history and setting within the local landscape. The walk then joins the Saxon Shore Way, following its distinctive route through historic boatyards and along the Wharf, before returning to Faversham.
This walk is ideal for those who enjoy gentle exploration, local history, and discovering lesser-known routes through the Kent countryside.
