Groundhouse Sheppey

These new and beautiful hobbit style glamping pods have all you need to have a self contained break. They boast their own private facilities and a wood fired hot tub in each garden. In the warmer months you can access our above ground family, heated, outdoor pool. We are a six minute drive from Elmley nature reserve and we are in-between them and the Shellness reserve, making for plenty of diverse bird and wildlife. These Pods are the only ones like this in Kent as far as we know, and probably the only ones in England that you can holiday in. Situated on the Groundhouse Sheppey site (the first ever earth ship to pass building control), the aim is to educate and inspire, and bees remain at the centre of this project. As does the preservation and enjoyment of nature. We welcome well behaved pets and children.
