Minster Gatehouse Museum

WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN ON SATURDAYS 2pm-4.30pm (last admission at 4pm) There is new, better lighting in the museum and outside there is a bench to sit and admire the view over the Swale. Minster Gatehouse Museum is now part of the Wheels of Time Scheme General Information Minster Gatehouse Museum is housed in a 1000 year old grade 1 listed building adjacent to the historic Minster Abbey. Local artefacts with connections to the Isle Of Sheppey, fossils and a view from the roof are just some of the attractions. Displays of the beginning of aviation, floods on Sheppey and Dickens' connection to the island are among a wealth of local items in this little treasure house. Volunteer with the museum .
