Halloween Half Term - Hever Castle and Gardens

Looking for Halloween half term in Kent with activities for younger children? Spooktacular Science takes over Hever Castle & Gardens from 17 October to 1 November 2026. The event includes a themed trail, hands-on crafts, an interactive science show and face painting on selected dates.

Most activities are included with admission. This makes it easy to plan a full family day around the Castle and grounds. Follow the Mad Scientist’s Trail, make your own goggles, watch Dr Frankenstein’s experiment and enjoy the autumn setting around Hever Castle.

Hever Castle’s Halloween half term in Kent event runs daily from 17 October to 1 November 2026. Families can explore the grounds while taking part in science-themed activities that mix Halloween fun with curiosity and play.
