Dear Evan Hansen - The Granville Theatre

Better Day Productions Presents ........

The winner of six Tony Awards (including Best Musical), the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, and an Olivier Award for Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen is a deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. The show features a book by Tony Award-winner Steven Levenson, and a score by Grammy, Tony and Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Evan Hansen, a socially anxious high school senior, becomes entangled in a misunderstanding after a classmate, Connor Murphy, takes his own life with a letter Evan wrote to himself found in Connor's pocket. Mistaken as Connor's close friend, Evan comforts the grieving Murphy family by fabricating a friendship that never existed, and his lie quickly grows into a movement that brings him unexpected popularity, love, and belonging. As the truth unravels, Evan must face the consequences of his choices and confront what it truly means to be seen, accepted, and honest about who you are.
