CURRENTLY CLOSED - UP FOR SALE This famous 18th Century free house has been completely renovated and extended to offer just the right atmosphere you would want and expect in a quality pub & eating house. Not only will the warming log stoves, comfy armchairs, and wide choice of cask ales attract those wanting an enjoyable pint but the pub also offers a seasonal and traditional menu using locally sourced produce. During the summer months the courtyard and garden are open offering interesting views of the creek, marina and marshes across to the Swale. As well as being a traditional local, The Ship Inn is situated right on the creek and the Saxon Shore Way, and is an ideal venue for the many walkers and birdwatchers passing through the hamlet. Dogs and children are very welcome, and if you are coming by road, parking is available. Visitors by sea are welcome to berth in Swale Marina.
