About The Dog and Bear Hotel

The Dog and Bear is ideally placed to explore Lenham and its picturesque countryside or to visit Leeds Castle, just 10 minutes' drive away. Just off the A20 and close to Junction 8 of the M20, the pub is conveniently placed to explore the whole of Kent and to enjoy walks on the North Downs. Built in 1602, the hotel was visited by Queen Anne in 1704 and her coat of arms is displayed above the door. A sense of history pervades the building, with its large open fire, oak beams and courtyard, while our 24 rooms, function suite and business facilities have all been recently refurbished.
