About Stone Bay

Stone Bay is a beautiful, quiet location, best known for rock-pooling and popular with families. The promenade leads on to the town of Broadstairs, and the main beach at Viking Bay. Seaside Award 2026 Designated for bathing 2026 Seasonal Lifeguards: 23 May - 17 July (Weekends and Bank holidays only), 18 July - 6 September (7 days a week service) Beach Chalets for hire (03333 660 661) Bay Information /Inspector Seasonal Toilets No Dogs are allowed on this beach from 1st May until 30th September, between 10am - 6pm.
