Open 364 days a year, you can sleep near our rare Amur tigers whilst snuggled in your very own cosy camping pod. Set close to our Amur tigers, Barbary Lions and a short walk to Western Lowland gorillas. Surrounded by towering pine trees, you'll get the real feeling of camping in the wild. The Accommodation Aiming to put the fun back into camping, the pods are designed with comfort and little home luxuries in mind. Each pod is cleverly insulated and has a double glazed lockable front door, leading to a private deck, equipped with seating. A Unique Getaway Situated within the 600 acres of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, home to an authentic safari experience and some of the most rare and endangered species in the world, Pinewood Camping Pods offer a unique getaway with nature right on the doorstep, giving guests the real feeling of camping in the wild. Perfect for those on a budget With a focus on conservation both native and exotic, a stay at Pinewood is perfect for schools, groups and families on a budget. Enjoy fun filled animal talks, arrange educational animal experiences and explore Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, as often as you wish during your stay. The Fun of Camping without the tent Inside, the Pinewood pods have two single beds with comfortable mattresses, a luxury double futon and handy built in cupboards, wardrobe and under bed storage, offering all the fun of sleeping in the wild without the need to pitch a tent. Travel light or pack to camp Pinewood consists of ten pods with individual BBQ areas. You can choose to bring your own food and bedding, or travel light and take advantage of the handy and affordable linen bundles and BBQ boxes. Alternatively, drinks and snacks will be served in the onsite Club House and various cafes situated around the reserve. Pricing Prices from GBP79-GBP159 per pod, per night inclusive of entrance for you to 4 people into Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve for the duration of your stay. During bank/school holidays, a minimum of two nights stay are required. Guests are welcome to bring their own sleeping bags, alternatively we can provide bedding packs for you at GBP7.50 per person.
