Morelli's Gelato

Morelli's Cappuccino Bar opened in Broadstairs in 1932 , after the company was founded in 1907 by the Morelli family, who are still the owners today. The iconic Italian coffee bar and ice cream parlour are located on Broadstairs' seafront promenade, overlooking the beautiful Viking Bay. The parlour still proudly serves loyal customers today, and retains a magical feel of stepping back in time with its soda fountain, juke box, formica table tops and pink leatherette booths...a visit to morelli's is - for many - a nostalgic walk down memory lane. The parlour offers many different flavours of freshly made ice cream, as well as fresh coffee, teas, soft drinks, Prosecco, pastries, cakes, and Italian savouries. Mint Choc Chip and Pistachio are the most popular flavours, with unusual additions like Rosemary, Walnut, and Honey available alongside vegan flavours.
