Moon Down

Moon Down offers courses in wild mushroom foraging, Christmas wreath making kits and the Moon Dance Festival. Our courses are held in the beautiful countryside on the Kent/Sussex border, based at our rural venue near Bells Yew Green. Our site boasts full classroom and conference facilities, restaurant area and parking set in over 150 acres of beautiful Wealden countryside. Our Wild Mushroom Foraging courses are led by John Wright, acclaimed author and a regular contributor at River Cottage. John visits our site for 2 days in October; the day includes a 3-course lunch and refreshments. Moon Down provide kits containing a variety of natural materials and instructions that will enable you to construct your own original door wreath.
