About Hothfield Heathlands

The Hothfield Heathlands Nature Reserve is an extensive area of heathland, woodland and river edge habitats. The site is jointly owned by Ashford Borough Council and Kent Wildlife Trust and is managed by the Trust. Hothfield Heathlands are an ancient fragment of our landscape which date back to prehistoric times.
