October half term
October half term has arrived and there are plenty of things to do with the kids in Kent, so there’s no need to retreat indoors. With half term activities including ghostly goings on, autumn walks and spectacular special offers on days out at favourite attractions, this week has all the promise of seven fantastic family days out in Kent.
Take on an outdoor autumn adventure in Kent this week and you’ll find plenty to keep little ones busy. Bewl Water offers a great day out with cycle hire, fishing and an adventure playground. Leaf-kickers will love a stroll through the colour-changing forest at Bedgebury Pinetum, or even a swing through those trees with a Go Ape adventure, while half term trails through the gardens of Penshurst Place and Emmetts Garden will soon wear the kids out.
Better still, we’ve teamed up with Stagecoach and Southeastern to offer you a range of tempting 2FOR1 offers and cheap days out in Kent when you travel by bus or train. Lace up your skates with 2FOR1 roller skating at Dreamland Margate, enjoy family fun at the farm with offers on tickets to Kent Life, visit the award-winning Historic Dockyard Chatham, or even explore the 500 acres of parkland at Leeds Castle.
Plus, this week many Kent attractions will be getting their spook on with Halloween events for families and scaredy cats! So whether you want to track down the Frankenstein at Bluewater, enjoy frights on the farm at the Rare Breeds Centre, or take a trip on the Spooky Special on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, make sure you check out our round of Kent’s Halloween events...
