Summer Transport Festival at Spa Valley Railway
30th June - 1st July 2018
2018 is the 3rd Summer Festival at Spa Valley Railway. Vintage road and rail transport will be celebrated over this amazing weekend of family fun. Of particular note, you will be able to inspect and admire a Victorian Steam Locomotive in the form of Lancashire & Yorkshire A-Class No. 52322 courtesy of Andy Booth! Centred around Eridge Station, hosting a wide variety of family games, attractions, and entertainment, this year will see a large collection of road steam & vintage vehicles, an intensive two-train service, live entertainment shows, Driver for a Fiver experiences, and a selection of Real Ales & Ciders alongside our BBQ. Tickets can be bought just for the festival or to include a train ride, there are various options so your best bet is to click here.
Why not get there by rail? The easiest route to get to us via train is to arrive at Eridge where our trains depart from Platform 2. Alternatively go to Tunbridge Wells Mainline and take a 10-15 minute walk down the hill through the Royal town via the lovely High Street and famous Pantiles. Do please check National Rail Enquiries before setting off. Parking can be found at Tunbridge Wells West station in Sainsbury's car park or in Linden Park Road Car Park. Limited spaces are available at Groombridge station however it's free at High Rocks ( TN3 9JJ). The car park at Eridge will be closed for this festival weekend.
