Dog-friendly places to eat and drink

Once you and your best friend have roamed and run the best of Kent's walking territory, you'll need to stop off for refreshment, be it biscuit or burger. Here are some of our recommendations for places to stop off at the end of your day.

The Spotted Dog

An appropriately-named rural pub in Penshurst welcomes dogs and their owners and offers a regularly-changing menu.

The Leicester Arms

A traditional pub in Penshurst serving seasonal food with dog treats on the bar and water bowls provided.

The Wheel Inn

Dogs on leads are welcome in the bar.

The Fitzwalter Arms

The George and Dragon

On the promenade at Minster on the Isle of Sheppey, the Sweet Hut is a great place to stop off for tea and cake during a walk on the seafront promenade.
