MAYS Concert - July
6th July 2018
JAMIE MOORE and STEVE ANSELL - GUITARS and ORGAN IN CONCERT
Jamie Moore and Steve Ansell are delighted to have been asked to perform together in concert as part of the MAYS (Music at York Street) concert series.
Jamie Moore is an accomplished guitarist who has performed throughout the world in a wide variety of settings including television, radio, West End theatre, touring stage productions, summer seasons, recording studios, concert halls and cabaret.
Jamie is well known to music enthusiasts in Kent for his solo performances as well as his role in the chamber jazz ensemble CUBE; his duo with fellow guitarist Dave Reay and his theatre / cabaret work with singer Brigitte Baden-Rennie.
Steve Ansell is a talented and versatile musician able to switch between a multitude of instruments from guitar to keyboards and organ. Rumour has it he can play any instrument. He is the church organist at Holy Trinity Church in Ramsgate where Jamie and Steve did their first concert together. However, Steve is perhaps best known to many as the guitarist / keyboard player for Hot Chocolate.
For this concert, Jamie and Steve will each perform some solo pieces but are particularly looking forward to coming together to perform compositions arranged for guitar and organ.
The programme will include music by Vivaldi, Bach, Faure, original compositions by Jamie Moore and so much more.
This concert will take place on Friday 6 July at the York Street Methodist Church in Broadstairs.
Not to be missed.
