Halloween Half Term Fun

Entertain your little monsters this October half term with our Halloween activities. Frightening Family Fun includes; Ghost hunt trail Calling all detective agents! We need your help to solve the mystery case of Edith Miller who mysteriously vanished in 1904. Strange things have started happening around the galleries. Objects seem to be moving and staff have reported seeing a ghostly figure. Can you follow the clues and help solve the mystery? Plus, get the answers right to be in with a chance to WIN a Samsung Galaxy Tablet!*

Pumpkin carving

Carve your own pumpkin, whilst learning about the ancient holiday of *Samhain (Summer’s End) and how peoples beliefs and traditions have influenced our ideas of Halloween over time. You can also investigate some uniquely spooky artefacts from the museum collection in our horrifying Halloween Handling Sessions! Limited spaces available. Either drop in or book in advance from our Visitor Information Desk.

Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th October: 10.30am – 12.00pm and 1.30pm – 3.00pm
Friday 26th October: 10.30am – 12.00pm, 3.00pm – 4.30pm and 6.30pm – 8.00pm
